Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic massage is a form of bodywork that is designed to treat specific needs, such as chronic pain or everyday stress. It focuses on areas where tension is held, such as tight shoulders, a stiff neck, or lower back pain. Therapeutic massage can help relieve muscle and joint pain, reduce stiffness, increase blood circulation, and promote overall well-being.
Sport Massage
Sports massage is focused and systematic, targeting muscles that are used in a specific sport. It uses various techniques to decrease muscle pain and improve recovery, as well as improve overall range of motion and flexibility to support safe and effective movement.
A sports massage therapist can assist with training, rehabilitation, and pre- or post-performance goals. While often sought by elite and amateur athletes, sports massage can also be beneficial for anyone who regularly exercises.
Cupping
An alternative form of medicine that can help treat both mental and physical issues. In recent years, it has skyrocketed in popularity, thanks in part to swimmer Michael Phelps’ cupping marks at the 2016 Olympics.
Your body will send oxygen-rich blood to repair the broken blood vessels, treating the cupped area as an injury.if you have sore muscles, cupping along the sore spots would help repair them more quickly.
Swedish massage
One of the most commonly offered massage techniques. It’s sometimes called a classic massage. The technique aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension.
Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue massage and better suited for people interested in relaxation and tension relief.
